Copley Motorcars has been an authorized Panoz Auto Development
dealer since 1998. During that time we have delivered many AIV
Roadsters and to date, two Esperante. Esperante production
encountered many early setbacks that delayed by a year or so the
delivery of customer cars. Since the first deliveries in early 2001,
the supplier problems have been eliminated, with approximately 70
Esperantes produced in 2001. The 2002 model, while priced about
10% more than 2001 model has many improvements and additions
to the standard equipment. With supplier problems eliminated,
production will grow to approximately 10 vehicles monthly for 2002.
The car itself, like all Panoz, has an aluminum body, aluminum chassis,
4.6L V8 engine, 320hp, 5 speed gear box, electric soft top, 0 - 60
in just a bit over 5 seconds, 2 golf bag trunk, "all" power convenience
options, traction control, anti lock brakes, dual airbags, and a
3 year/36,000 mile factory warranty. Changes for 2002 include carbon
fiber door sills, carbon fiber trunk inner liner, carbon fiber inner fender
liners and full leather interior.
This Esperante has been ordered by our client in Panoz Blue metallic with
parchment full leather interior and is equipped with the following options:
wood dash and interior trim, aluminum clutch, brake and accelerator pedals,
and an Esperante car cover, for a total MSRP of $92,390.00. We currently
have a build slot available this summer, so please call to order your Esperante
to your exact specifications.
